Spectators: 7661 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 161) Orestis Kalpadakis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Charis Leontiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodosis Sfoliatas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, one of Panathinaikos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panathinaikos. The referee gave Nenitoϊria BC a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Christos Moustos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Panathinaikos's Kaká Ramos. 0-1. With a little luck, Nenitoϊria BC's Theodosis Sfoliatas got control of the ball when Valdomiro Arósio tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Nenitoϊria BC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Thanos Mantarinidis hit a great ball. When Panathinaikos's Valdomiro Arósio in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nenitoϊria BC's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the game, Panathinaikos's Valdomiro Arósio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theodosis Sfoliatas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdomiro Arósio in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theodosis Sfoliatas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Charis Leontiou dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Theodosis Sfoliatas, 2-1. Charis Leontiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Theodosis Sfoliatas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Panos Nalitzis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Thanos Mantarinidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Panathinaikos booed when Nenitoϊria BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaios Koronios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdomiro Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodosis Sfoliatas having to interfere. Nenitoϊria BC's Theodosis Sfoliatas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Nenitoϊria BC from getting a goal against them. Ermis Papadopetrakis kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Valdomiro Arósio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Theodosis Sfoliatas made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdomiro Arósio to strike the kick off in the second half. When Panos Nalitzis fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nenitoϊria BC's protests and gave Panos Nalitzis a yellow card for diving instead. Panos Nalitzis hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Theodosis Sfoliatas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arotza Pozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Valdomiro Arósio sped through Nenitoϊria BC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Theodosis Sfoliatas. Christos Moustos's late challenge caught a Panathinaikos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christos Moustos helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Nenitoϊria BC got a freekick which was hit by Christos Moustos. Theodosis Sfoliatas came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Panathinaikos's Charis Leontiou. But to his dismay, Charis Leontiou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Theodosis Sfoliatas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdomiro Arósio in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theodosis Sfoliatas saved Nenitoϊria BC from getting behind. When Efthimis Zanidis came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Panathinaikos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efthimis Zanidis couldn't finish the play. Kaká Ramos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nasos Stavrinos. Valdomiro Arósio might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Theodosis Sfoliatas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdomiro Arósio ran back to his position shaking his head. When Panathinaikos's Valdomiro Arósio in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nenitoϊria BC's goalie prevented a goal. Charis Leontiou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdomiro Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Nenitoϊria BC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Arósio came free, but Theodosis Sfoliatas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Arotza Pozo made a precise shot to the right of Theodosis Sfoliatas. Nenitoϊria BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Panathinaikos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
