Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Makríndos BC's Fragiskos Papalexiou started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Makríndos BC booed when Panathinaikos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charis Leontiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes Panathinaikos got a freekick which was hit by Anthimos Korellas. Valentinos Livaditis made in the 11th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Charis Leontiou immediately put the ball in play. Dimos Kolevas came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Panathinaikos's Valdomiro Arósio. But to his dismay, Valdomiro Arósio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Polo Abecia kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Dimos Kolevas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Panathinaikos fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Panathinaikos's Charis Leontiou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Makríndos BC defense, Valdomiro Arósio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimos Kolevas. The Makríndos BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimos Kolevas should have stopped the shot. Arotza Pozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimos Kolevas having to interfere. Dimos Kolevas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Arósio in the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Charis Leontiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimos Kolevas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Makríndos BC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panathinaikos were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdomiro Arósio made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Vladimiros Voskaridis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaká Ramos. Panathinaikos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimiros Voskaridis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Valdomiro Arósio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dimos Kolevas. That made the score 1-5 in the 55 minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Panathinaikos's Valdomiro Arósio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimos Kolevas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Kaká Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chrisostomos Riganidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaká Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chrisostomos Riganidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Fragiskos Papalexiou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Makríndos BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fragiskos Papalexiou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Arotza Pozo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dimos Kolevas. Makríndos BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arotza Pozo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Dimos Kolevas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-8. Valdomiro Arósio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dimos Kolevas made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Panathinaikos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Makríndos BC.
