Spectators: 7944 (Terracing: 6004, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 100) Vaggelis Roubanis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The EVOSMOS FC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when EVOSMOS FC's Vaggelis Roubanis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 8 minutes into the game, Christodoulos Koutras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lakonia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EVOSMOS FC the free kick. After 10 minutes of play Lakonia FC's Christodoulos Koutras was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of EVOSMOS FC booed when Lakonia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christodoulos Koutras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giannis Kapopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Roubanis in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Iasonidis in the 18th minute of play forced Lakonia FC's goalkeeper Giannis Kapopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Giorgos Iasonidis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The throw-in from Dimos Papadamos in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by EVOSMOS FC's Inigo Martinez. Alexandros Igoumenakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltos Spanopoulos in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lakonia FC's Markos Manetas got a free kick in the 26th minute. Fanis Kanelidis struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Giannis Kapopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EVOSMOS FC. Giorgos Iasonidis hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd match minute, Lakonia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkaios Katsavos to maneuver through the defense. Giannis Kapopoulos made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Fanis Kanelidis sent off a good shot on target. After 36 minutes, Argyris Kassiantidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lakonia FC and the EVOSMOS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lakonia FC's Argyris Kassiantidis got a free kick in the 36th minute. Fanis Kanelidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th match minute, Lakonia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marios Botitsis to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Lakonia FC's goalkeeper Giannis Kapopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fanis Kanelidis. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Giannis Kapopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignatios Maganaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Vaggelis Roubanis hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Miltos Spanopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandros Igoumenakis having to interfere. Giannis Kapopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Iasonidis in the 63rd minute of play. Giannis Kapopoulos came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by EVOSMOS FC's Vaggelis Roubanis. But to his dismay, Vaggelis Roubanis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Giannis Kapopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Roubanis in the 78th minute of the match. Miltos Spanopoulos in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alexandros Igoumenakis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Kanelidis in the 85th minute of play forced Lakonia FC's goalkeeper Giannis Kapopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giorgos Iasonidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Giannis Kapopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Lakonia FC got a freekick which was hit by Markos Manetas. 92 minutes into the match, Fanis Kanelidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giannis Kapopoulos. Lakonia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fanis Kanelidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Iosif Serafidis hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the EVOSMOS FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
