The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fragiskos Papalexiou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stamatis Sifakis hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Makríndos BC's zone, Gerasimos Venoukas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimos Kolevas came out of the goal and Gerasimos Venoukas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dimos Kolevas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marinos Kastanias in the 62nd minute. Christodoulos Tsouknidas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Evaggelos Mirtsos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gerasimos Venoukas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Stamatis Sifakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, PANATHINAIKOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fragiskos Papalexiou came free, but Evaggelos Mirtsos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88thth minute of the game Fragiskos Papalexiou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PANATHINAIKOS FC's Evaggelos Mirtsos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Makríndos BC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Babbis Froussos hit a great ball. Iason Kechagias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
