Ntinos Georgiadis kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Telon's zone, Orestis Kalpadakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vassilis Kotsias came out of the goal and Orestis Kalpadakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 played minutes Telon got a freekick which was hit by Apostolis Koulos. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Telon's goalkeeper Vassilis Kotsias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nenitoϊria BC's Christos Symeonakis got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Orestis Kalpadakis came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Nenitoϊria BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orestis Kalpadakis couldn't finish the play. When Kostas Antonakoglou fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Telon's protests and gave Kostas Antonakoglou a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nenitoϊria BC booed when Telon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Antonakoglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vassilis Kotsias was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Orestis Kalpadakis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play.
