Ignatios Maganaris looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Benê de Toledo. 41 minutes into the game, Koulis Bachramis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Greek Saints's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EVOSMOS FC the free kick. After 41 played minutes Greek Saints got a freekick which was hit by Koulis Bachramis. With a little luck, Greek Saints's Benê de Toledo got control of the ball when Fanis Kanelidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vaggelis Roubanis was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, EVOSMOS FC's Giorgos Iasonidis got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 68th minute of the match, Alesandro Del Piero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexandros Igoumenakis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Greek Saints's Alesandro Del Piero was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 73 played minutes Greek Saints got a freekick which was hit by Iraklis Katergiannakis. Ignatios Maganaris took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benê de Toledo. Benê de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EVOSMOS FC. After 83 played minutes Greek Saints got a freekick which was hit by Iraklis Katergiannakis. Vaggelis Roubanis took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benê de Toledo. Benê de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Greek Saints's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
