Giannis Kapopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sokratis Tsarouchas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Miltos Spanopoulos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Savas Someridis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 22 minutes, Zisis Kanaris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Voutiαnoi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zisis Kanaris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Sokratis Tsarouchas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giannis Kapopoulos. Lakonia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sokratis Tsarouchas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 35 minutes of play, Voutiαnoi's Sokratis Tsarouchas made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giannis Kapopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miltos Spanopoulos made a kick off. Miltos Spanopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savas Someridis having to interfere. Christodoulos Koutras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savas Someridis having to interfere. Voutiαnoi's Sokratis Tsarouchas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute Iosif Serafidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savas Someridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iason Bourouselos hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Voutiαnoi's Giannis Frantzeskos got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sokratis Tsarouchas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lakonia FC booed when Voutiαnoi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Prokopeas didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Lakonia FC's Giannis Kapopoulos got control of the ball when Zisis Kanaris tried to sneak it across the goal line.
