Bαpes BC were furious when Manolis Moraitis was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 11th minute, one of Bαpes BC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bαpes BC. The referee gave APOLLON AGRINIOU a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Takis Antzas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bαpes BC's Themis Ntalakouras. 1-0. The supporters of Bαpes BC booed when APOLLON AGRINIOU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogenis Trabakoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Christos Kalantzidis fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bαpes BC's protests and gave Christos Kalantzidis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bαpes BC's Christos Kalantzidis got a free kick in the 21st minute. The audience was convinced that Diogenis Trabakoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Themis Ntalakouras was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as APOLLON AGRINIOU's Alexis Tsakanikas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Themis Ntalakouras. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bαpes BC's zone, Alexis Tsakanikas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Themis Ntalakouras came out of the goal and Alexis Tsakanikas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, Bαpes BC's goalkeeper Themis Ntalakouras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diogenis Trabakoulos. If Ilias Barbikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bαpes BC's Themis Ntalakouras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Bαpes BC from getting a goal against them. Themis Ntalakouras made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Diogenis Trabakoulos sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Bαpes BC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Achilleas Papadopoulos hit a great ball. Panos Roubakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexis Tsakanikas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themis Ntalakouras having to interfere. If Panos Roubakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexis Tsakanikas took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Themis Ntalakouras. Themis Ntalakouras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 83 minutes into the match, Bαpes BC's goal looked a bit too open when Diogenis Trabakoulos came free, but Themis Ntalakouras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tasos Marinopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Themis Ntalakouras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogenis Trabakoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Diogenis Trabakoulos made a precise shot to the right of Themis Ntalakouras. Bαpes BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When the referee ended the match the APOLLON AGRINIOU players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
