Frode Hilde's late challenge caught a DODONI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frode Hilde helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Frode Hilde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sakis Gaitatzis did an outstanding performance 15 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-3 to the right of an irritated Vaggelis Ligeridis in the goal. After 22 minutes, Alex Broberg made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Atalanti F.C.'s Vaggelis Ligeridis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. DODONI FC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Atalanti F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gökberk Yalavaç took the corner. Gökberk Yalavaç made a great header on DODONI FC's corner, it was just that Atalanti F.C.'s Vaggelis Ligeridis managed to reach the ball for a save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vaggelis Ligeridis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Broberg got free with Vaggelis Ligeridis in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Alex Broberg made a precise shot to the right of Vaggelis Ligeridis. Atalanti F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. DODONI FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
