Spectators: 6837 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fokas Kostoulas started the match with the kick off. Theagenis Velis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iakovos Kapeliotis having to make a save. Notis Petimezas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Iakovos Kapeliotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Mouzαkion's goal looked a bit too open when Theagenis Velis came free, but Iakovos Kapeliotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iakovos Kapeliotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Notis Petimezas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Notis Petimezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theagenis Velis succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Iakovos Kapeliotis came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Kraniá Dheskátis's Notis Petimezas. But to his dismay, Notis Petimezas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thodoris Nebegleras came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Panos Papageorgiou could save by the left post. After 19 minutes, Loukas Stoubos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kraniá Dheskátis and the Mouzαkion players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Kraniá Dheskátis got a freekick which was hit by Loukas Stoubos. Iakovos Kapeliotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Notis Petimezas in the 24th minute of play. Kraniá Dheskátis's Notis Petimezas got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Mouzαkion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiros Lolos to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes Kraniá Dheskátis got a freekick which was hit by Theagenis Velis. After a defensive mix-up in Mouzαkion's zone, Notis Petimezas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iakovos Kapeliotis came out of the goal and Notis Petimezas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Mouzαkion's goal looked a bit too open when Notis Petimezas came free, but Iakovos Kapeliotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Notis Petimezas to make the kick off. Iakovos Kapeliotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theagenis Velis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panos Papageorgiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fokas Kostoulas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Notis Petimezas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iakovos Kapeliotis firmly grabbed it by the left post. 61 minutes into the match, Kraniá Dheskátis's Notis Petimezas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iakovos Kapeliotis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iakovos Kapeliotis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Soulis Telemidis. Notis Petimezas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iakovos Kapeliotis having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Kraniá Dheskátis's goal looked a bit too open when Fokas Kostoulas came free, but Panos Papageorgiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Notis Petimezas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iakovos Kapeliotis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Iakovos Kapeliotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theagenis Velis in the 77th minute of the match. Iakovos Kapeliotis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Notis Petimezas in the 80th minute. In the 86th minute Theagenis Velis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iakovos Kapeliotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iakovos Kapeliotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theagenis Velis in the 88th minute of play. Notis Petimezas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Iakovos Kapeliotis made a huge save. Notis Petimezas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Iakovos Kapeliotis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Notis Petimezas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kraniá Dheskátis's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
