Spectators: 7993 (Terracing: 6064, Seating: 1859, VIP seats: 70) Syrianska Fc's Fragiskos Kazoleas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Kazantzou in the 5th minute of play forced Syrianska Fc's goalkeeper Gyula Jászberényi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Syrianska Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Koulis Gittas came free, but Gyula Jászberényi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikiforos Koukos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute Koulis Gittas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gyula Jászberényi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loukas Soulakas made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Fragiskos Kazoleas sent off a good shot on target. Asteras BC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fragiskos Kazoleas 14 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Stavros Papachantzoulis took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Loukas Soulakas to make any attempt to save it. Thanos Zervoulakos came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Loukas Soulakas could save by the left post. 33 minutes into the game, Fragiskos Kazoleas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Loukas Soulakas. Fragiskos Kazoleas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The supporters of Asteras BC booed when Syrianska Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theofanis Kavatzidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loukas Soulakas came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Syrianska Fc's Kleanthis Tsiantakis. But to his dismay, Kleanthis Tsiantakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Koulis Gittas made the kick off in the second half. Loukas Soulakas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fragiskos Kazoleas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikos Kanakaris hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Syrianska Fc's Kleanthis Tsiantakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loukas Soulakas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Petros Mitsis's late challenge caught a Asteras BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petros Mitsis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Asteras BC booed when Syrianska Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petros Mitsis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Stavros Papachantzoulis notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Asteras BC's Loukas Soulakas. Loukas Soulakas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Fragiskos Kazoleas came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Syrianska Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fragiskos Kazoleas couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the game, Syrianska Fc's Nikiforos Koukos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loukas Soulakas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Nikos Kanakaris kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Syrianska Fc's Nikiforos Koukos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loukas Soulakas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Syrianska Fc got a freekick which was hit by Thanos Zervoulakos. In the 96th minute of the match Nikos Kanakaris sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gyula Jászberényi skillfully saved the ball.
