Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th match minute, Asteras BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Kanakaris to maneuver through the defense. Iosif Pappas kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Odysseas Giotos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loukas Soulakas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fondas Gitkos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. Petros Chrisochoidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Koulis Gittas's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Andreas Kazantzou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petros Chrisochoidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute Odysseas Giotos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loukas Soulakas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vιrga FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Viktoras Melopoulos in the 22nd minute. Vιrga FC's Zinon Papadimitriou was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Loukas Soulakas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 24 minutes into the match, Vιrga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Koulis Gittas came free, but Petros Chrisochoidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Koulis Gittas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Vιrga FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Odysseas Giotos hit a great ball. Nikos Kanakaris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Nikos Kanakaris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Asteras BC's goal looked a bit too open when Odysseas Giotos came free, but Loukas Soulakas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petros Chrisochoidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Kanakaris in the 37th minute of play. Loukas Soulakas came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Vιrga FC's Fondas Gitkos. But to his dismay, Fondas Gitkos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Antonis Papafanakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Viktoras Petrou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Asteras BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vιrga FC the free kick. The long shot by Viktoras Melopoulos in the 47th minute really tested Loukas Soulakas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Odysseas Giotos to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Iosif Pappas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loukas Soulakas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute Koulis Gittas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petros Chrisochoidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonis Papafanakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Chrisochoidis having to interfere. Andreas Kazantzou spun around in front of the goal 60 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Vιrga FC's goal. Iosif Pappas's late challenge caught a Asteras BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iosif Pappas helped the player get up and apologised. Fondas Gitkos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loukas Soulakas having to make a save. In the 71st minute Fondas Gitkos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loukas Soulakas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petros Chrisochoidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonis Papafanakis in the 76th minute of play. Fondas Gitkos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Loukas Soulakas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loukianos Partalidis during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Loukianos Partalidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loukas Soulakas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odysseas Giotos in the 84th minute of play. Iosif Pappas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loukas Soulakas having to interfere. The Vιrga FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
