In the 4th match minute, Kraniá Dheskátis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spyros Kounenakis to maneuver through the defense. Sotos Siamantouras charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sotos Siamantouras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Notis Petimezas in the 19th minute of play forced Super3's goalkeeper Miltos Glossopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sotos Siamantouras was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. After a defensive mix-up in Super3's zone, Notis Petimezas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miltos Glossopoulos came out of the goal and Notis Petimezas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miltos Glossopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selahaddin Malik, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Notis Petimezas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miltos Glossopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selahaddin Malik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kraniá Dheskátis's Notis Petimezas got a free kick in the 37th minute. When Selahaddin Malik came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Kraniá Dheskátis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selahaddin Malik couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Apostolis Papadimakos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Panos Papageorgiou. That made the score 1-0 in the 45 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Selahaddin Malik might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miltos Glossopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Selahaddin Malik ran back to his position shaking his head. Notis Petimezas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Miltos Glossopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Notis Petimezas came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Kraniá Dheskátis fans jumped to their feet. A hard shot 65 in the game by Notis Petimezas from a close distance when the talented Miltos Glossopoulos managed to make a qualified save. Super3's players were relieved. With a little luck, Super3's Miltos Glossopoulos got control of the ball when Notis Petimezas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Super3 booed when Kraniá Dheskátis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Notis Petimezas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 played minutes Super3 got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Karouselis. Selahaddin Malik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miltos Glossopoulos having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Michalis Skordas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kraniá Dheskátis and the Super3 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Michalis Skordas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Notis Petimezas put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Miltos Glossopoulos. Selahaddin Malik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Miltos Glossopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Super3 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kraniá Dheskátis were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
