In the 17th match minute, Super3 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanasis Chiotis to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Kanakaris got free with Miltos Glossopoulos in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andreas Kazantzou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Miltos Glossopoulos made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
