Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Notis Petimezas kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Kraniá Dheskátis's Loukas Stoubos got a free kick in the 4th minute. Panos Papageorgiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odysseas Giotos, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Loukas Stoubos kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Michalis Skordas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Vιrga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Notis Petimezas came free, but Petros Chrisochoidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Selahaddin Malik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Chrisochoidis having to interfere. When Zinon Martinakos came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Vιrga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zinon Martinakos couldn't finish the play. Notis Petimezas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Petros Chrisochoidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panos Papageorgiou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fondas Gitkos in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Notis Petimezas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petros Chrisochoidis was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Selahaddin Malik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kraniá Dheskátis's supporters rose to their feet, but Selahaddin Malik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petros Chrisochoidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Panos Papageorgiou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iosif Pappas in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selahaddin Malik in the 32nd minute of play forced Vιrga FC's goalkeeper Petros Chrisochoidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panos Papageorgiou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fondas Gitkos in the 36th minute. Iosif Pappas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Panos Papageorgiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kraniá Dheskátis's Selahaddin Malik got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Vιrga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Notis Petimezas came free, but Petros Chrisochoidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Odysseas Giotos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kraniá Dheskátis's Panos Papageorgiou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fondas Gitkos in the 56th minute of play. Panos Papageorgiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Pappas, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Notis Petimezas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kraniá Dheskátis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Notis Petimezas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Theagenis Velis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zinon Martinakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zinon Martinakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Panos Papageorgiou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odysseas Giotos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Kraniá Dheskátis defense, Iosif Pappas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panos Papageorgiou. The Kraniá Dheskátis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panos Papageorgiou should have stopped the shot. Selahaddin Malik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Chrisochoidis having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Vιrga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sofoklis Chatziaggelis to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Vιrga FC defense, Notis Petimezas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petros Chrisochoidis. The Vιrga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petros Chrisochoidis should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute, Odysseas Giotos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Panos Papageorgiou was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Selahaddin Malik in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petros Chrisochoidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Kraniá Dheskátis booed when Vιrga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sofoklis Chatziaggelis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
