Fondas Gitkos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iakovos Kapeliotis having to interfere. Fondas Gitkoss short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Iakovos Kapeliotis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fondas Gitkos took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iakovos Kapeliotis. Iakovos Kapeliotis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 35th minute Odysseas Giotos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iakovos Kapeliotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mouzαkion's Thodoris Nebegleras got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odysseas Giotos in the 37th minute of play forced Mouzαkion's goalkeeper Iakovos Kapeliotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mouzαkion getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Argyris Varelis hit a great ball.

53 minutes into the match, Fondas Gitkos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iakovos Kapeliotis. Mouzαkion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fondas Gitkos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 55th minute, Fokas Kostoulas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Odysseas Giotos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iakovos Kapeliotis having to interfere. Mouzαkion's Thodoris Nebegleras pulled a muscle in his back after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zinon Martinakos during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mouzαkion booed when Vιrga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinon Martinakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mouzαkion's Iakovos Kapeliotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odysseas Giotos in the 64th minute of play. Iakovos Kapeliotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fondas Gitkos in the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fondas Gitkos in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iakovos Kapeliotis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Odysseas Giotos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iakovos Kapeliotis having to interfere. Fondas Gitkos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Vιrga FC's Fondas Gitkos in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mouzαkion's goalie prevented a goal. After 77 played minutes Mouzαkion got a freekick which was hit by Fokas Kostoulas. After a defensive mix-up in Mouzαkion's zone, Odysseas Giotos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iakovos Kapeliotis came out of the goal and Odysseas Giotos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th match minute, Mouzαkion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charalambos Karastamatis to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Vιrga FC's Viktoras Melopoulos in action when he in the 81st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 89th minute, Fondas Gitkos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vιrga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 94th match minute, Vιrga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sofoklis Chatziaggelis to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes into the match, Vιrga FC's goalkeeper Petros Chrisochoidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kostas Kagiorgis. Vιrga FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
