Spectators: 7968 (Terracing: 5977, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Errikos Grifisas took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c's Saul Irrintzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stelios Kanellakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Fighters's Stelios Kanellakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Di Mascio in the 8th minute of play. Panagiotis Rovolis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Przemyslaw Karanowski having to make a save. If Andrea Di Mascio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stelios Kanellakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Minas Metaxas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in The Fighters's zone, Saul Irrintzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stelios Kanellakis came out of the goal and Saul Irrintzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrea Di Mascio scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stelios Kanellakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Fighters's Stelios Kanellakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Minas Metaxas in the 25th minute of play. Przemyslaw Karanowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michalis Papalakis in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Saul Irrintzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Stelios Kanellakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Errikos Grifisas scored 1-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Przemyslaw Karanowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c's Andrea Di Mascio in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 52nd minute of the match, Andrea Di Mascio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stelios Kanellakis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Michalis Papalakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Minas Metaxas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stelios Kanellakis, 1-4. Kostas Mousios hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A hard, long distance shot from Errikos Grifisas flew over the goal. Stelios Kanellakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Irrintzi in the 67th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Saul Irrintzi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stelios Kanellakis. Saul Irrintzi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Stelios Kanellakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Irrintzi in the 74th minute of play. Andrea Di Mascio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelios Kanellakis having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Saul Irrintzi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stelios Kanellakis. The goal made the score 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Minas Metaxas in the 87th minute of play forced The Fighters's goalkeeper Stelios Kanellakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stelios Kanellakis made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Andrea Di Mascio sent off a good shot on target.
