After 3 minutes, Giannis Galanopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INTERISTAS and the Thrilos players grew even worse after the yellow card. INTERISTAS's Petros Moustogiannis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thymios Papoulidis in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fotis Chatziapostolou in the 19th minute of play forced INTERISTAS's goalkeeper Petros Moustogiannis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Giannis Galanopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. INTERISTAS were furious when Tasos Terzis was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to INTERISTAS getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. The INTERISTAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to Thrilos getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Themis Mousios hit a great ball. INTERISTAS's Petros Moustogiannis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thymios Papoulidis in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, INTERISTAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonis Zotalis to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Thrilos booed when INTERISTAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loukas Kakitsis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petros Moustogiannis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thymios Papoulidis to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in INTERISTAS's zone, Thymios Papoulidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petros Moustogiannis came out of the goal and Thymios Papoulidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. INTERISTAS's Petros Moustogiannis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thymios Papoulidis in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fotis Chatziapostolou got free with Petros Moustogiannis in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Thymios Papoulidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thrilos's supporters rose to their feet, but Thymios Papoulidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petros Moustogiannis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petros Moustogiannis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fotis Chatziapostolou in the 58th minute. Markos Konstantinidis hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes INTERISTAS got a freekick which was hit by Antonis Zotalis. Petros Moustogiannis made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Fotis Chatziapostolou sent off a good shot on target. Antonis Zotalis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the game, Minas Lidakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thrilos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTERISTAS the free kick. In the 67th minute, Minas Lidakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charalambos Anastasiou kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Thrilos's goal looked a bit too open when Marios Amanatidis came free, but Thymios Kladas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of INTERISTAS booed when Thrilos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Minas Lidakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonis Zotalis in the 73rd minute of play forced Thrilos's goalkeeper Thymios Kladas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omiros Gaitanis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Petros Moustogiannis made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Takis Maridis sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, INTERISTAS's Petros Moustogiannis got control of the ball when Fotis Chatziapostolou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charalambos Anastasiou's late challenge caught a INTERISTAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charalambos Anastasiou helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Thrilos got a freekick which was hit by Charalambos Anastasiou. INTERISTAS's Marios Amanatidis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Thrilos. After a rather tough play, INTERISTAS's Marios Amanatidis got a free kick in the 94th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
