Spectators: 8020 (Terracing: 6017, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marinos Kandarakis made the kick off which started today's match. Gate13's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Argyris Ouzounidis scored to the left of an out of position Babbis Kariotakis, making the score, 1-0. After 6 minutes, Ilias Veziropoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gate13 and the JOLLYROGER players grew even worse after the yellow card. 6 minutes into the game, one of Gate13:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Babbis Kariotakis, was totally fooled by JOLLYROGER's Achilleas Spazokefalos, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 16th minute, Nasos Droumalias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marinos Kandarakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sakis Peponis having to interfere. Gate13's Babbis Kariotakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achilleas Spazokefalos in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Achilleas Tsopelas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Achilleas Tsopelas might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sakis Peponis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Achilleas Tsopelas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, Marinos Kandarakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Marinos Kandarakis kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Gate13's goal looked a bit too open when Achilleas Spazokefalos came free, but Babbis Kariotakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sakis Peponis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marinos Kandarakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Thomas Alexis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Achilleas Tsopelas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gate13's supporters crossed their fingers, but Achilleas Tsopelas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gate13's zone, Thomas Alexis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Babbis Kariotakis came out of the goal and Thomas Alexis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Achilleas Tsopelas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Sakis Peponis made a huge save. Gate13's Achilleas Tsopelas got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Marinos Kandarakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sakis Peponis. That made the score 2-2 in the 87 minute of play. If Nikitas Diamantidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marinos Kandarakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
