When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Themistoklis Poursaitidis made a kick off. The supporters of Riverpool booed when Ολυμπος Αγιασου was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michalis Karamaounas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sokratis Karnezakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Alkis Kaliakatsos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Michalis Karamaounas made a huge save. Ολυμπος Αγιασου's Nikos Pegiadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aggelos Periadis in the 74th minute of play. Nikos Pegiadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simos Someritis in the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Themistoklis Poursaitidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Michalis Karamaounas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the match, Riverpool's goal looked a bit too open when Sokratis Karnezakis came free, but Michalis Karamaounas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Ολυμπος Αγιασου was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sokratis Karnezakis to maneuver through the defense. Nikos Pegiadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonis Mitsibonas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Riverpool fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ολυμπος Αγιασου were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
