The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Joanes Saboya notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Riverpool's Michalis Karamaounas. Michalis Karamaounas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Riverpool's Michalis Karamaounas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joanes Saboya in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Riverpool's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Christobal came free, but Michalis Karamaounas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Riverpool's Michalis Karamaounas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Amaral in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Karagiotas in the 26th minute of play forced Riverpool's goalkeeper Michalis Karamaounas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonis Mitsibonas struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Yiyo Alaez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riverpool. Antonis Mitsibonas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Soulis Bogdanos made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Riverpool's Telis Theodoridis. Riverpool's Michalis Karamaounas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joanes Saboya in the 42nd minute of play.

The wind increased when Giannis Karagiotas made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonis Mitsibonas in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yiyo Alaez saved A.E Rizomaton from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as A.E Rizomaton's Candido Christobal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Michalis Karamaounas. That made the score 0-3 after 57 minutes of play. Antonis Mitsibonas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antonis Mitsibonas might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yiyo Alaez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonis Mitsibonas ran back to his position shaking his head. Giannis Karagiotas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Karamaounas having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonis Mitsibonas in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yiyo Alaez saved A.E Rizomaton from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Candido Christobal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michalis Karamaounas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willian Amaral hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes A.E Rizomaton got a freekick which was hit by Willian Amaral. When Riverpool's Antonis Mitsibonas in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.E Rizomaton's goalie prevented a goal. The Riverpool fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. A.E Rizomaton were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
