Candido Christobal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nikos Pegiadis came out and tried to block the shot, but Candido Christobal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Yiyo Alaez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themistoklis Poursaitidis in the 13th minute of the match. Giannis Karagiotas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 14th playminute. Luís Aparecido hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Themistoklis Poursaitidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Ολυμπος Αγιασου's goalkeeper Nikos Pegiadis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giannis Karagiotas. Themistoklis Poursaitidis hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Nikos Pegiadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Christobal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Candido Christobal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Christobal in the 59th minute of play forced Ολυμπος Αγιασου's goalkeeper Nikos Pegiadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joanes Saboya in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikos Pegiadis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Giannis Karagiotas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikos Pegiadis. Ολυμπος Αγιασου's Nikos Pegiadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Karagiotas in the 90th minute of play. There was no doubt that A.E Rizomaton were the better team. A.E Rizomaton's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
