Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Prokopis Stasinos kicked off to start the match. Manolis Valassakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veniamin Zervoulakis in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to A.O ASTERAS SYROY getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alketas Kostantelos hit a great ball. Manolis Valassakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustratios Symeonidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Panagiotis Dimitriou during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Neon Skilitsi BC got a freekick which was hit by Panagiotis Dimitriou. After 20 played minutes, A.O ASTERAS SYROY's Alekos Gazis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manolis Valassakos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.O ASTERAS SYROY reached it. Veniamin Zervoulakis hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Menios Stavrinoudakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustratios Symeonidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neon Skilitsi BC's Menios Stavrinoudakis got his second yellow card of the match in the 31st minute. The referee ordered Menios Stavrinoudakis off the ground. After a rather tough play, Neon Skilitsi BC's Menios Stavrinoudakis got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veniamin Zervoulakis in the 37th minute of play forced Neon Skilitsi BC's goalkeeper Manolis Valassakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Neon Skilitsi BC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustratios Symeonidis came free, but Manolis Valassakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Veniamin Zervoulakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolis Valassakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veniamin Zervoulakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolis Valassakos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustratios Symeonidis in the 44th minute of play forced Neon Skilitsi BC's goalkeeper Manolis Valassakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Veniamin Zervoulakis took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manolis Valassakos. Manolis Valassakos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half A.O ASTERAS SYROY were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Veniamin Zervoulakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Neon Skilitsi BC booed when A.O ASTERAS SYROY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alekos Gazis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Ignatios Tsifoutis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolis Valassakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lambis Pourzitidis hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Neon Skilitsi BC's goalkeeper Manolis Valassakos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Veniamin Zervoulakis. The audience thought a goal was coming when Veniamin Zervoulakis got free with Manolis Valassakos in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to A.O ASTERAS SYROY getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alekos Gazis hit a great ball. Ignatios Tsifoutis's late challenge caught a Neon Skilitsi BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignatios Tsifoutis helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes A.O ASTERAS SYROY got a freekick which was hit by Ignatios Tsifoutis. After 89 played minutes Neon Skilitsi BC got a freekick which was hit by Prokopis Stasinos. In the 93rd match minute, Neon Skilitsi BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panagiotis Dimitriou to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded A.O ASTERAS SYROY left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Neon Skilitsi BC.
