Sakis Velatos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Menelaos Kokkalopoulos in the 3rd minute. Menelaos Kokkalopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Sakis Velatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rodiakos FC booed when ANAGENISH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apostolos Pardalakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sakis Velatos was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Menelaos Kokkalopoulos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Menelaos Kokkalopoulos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Menelaos Kokkalopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sakis Velatos having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giannis Salaggoudis during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Menelaos Kokkalopoulos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sakis Velatos. The goal made the score 2-0. 42 minutes into the game, Zacharias Spanoulis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ANAGENISH's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rodiakos FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, ANAGENISH's Zacharias Spanoulis got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Sakis Velatos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Giannis Manolas. When Giannis Salaggoudis came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Rodiakos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Salaggoudis couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nektarios Servetiadis was the one to do the kick off. Giannis Manolas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th match minute, ANAGENISH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis Sardanis to maneuver through the defense. Rodiakos FC's Menelaos Kokkalopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apostolos Pardalakis made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Rodiakos FC's Giannis Manolas. Giannis Manolas kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Avraam Varsamis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rodiakos FC's Giannis Salaggoudis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Menelaos Kokkalopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sakis Velatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Menelaos Kokkalopoulos in the 70th minute of play forced ANAGENISH's goalkeeper Sakis Velatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sakis Velatos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Menelaos Kokkalopoulos went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Menelaos Kokkalopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Rodiakos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Menelaos Kokkalopoulos couldn't finish the play. Apostolos Pardalakis made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Renos Kotsiras. In the 83rd minute, Menelaos Kokkalopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Koulis Liras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the ANAGENISH defense, Menelaos Kokkalopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sakis Velatos. The ANAGENISH fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sakis Velatos should have stopped the shot. Rodiakos FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
