The audience was convinced that Anders Lövgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teo Otsoko was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Internationale defense, Christos Tsouchtras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teo Otsoko. The Internationale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teo Otsoko should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Chiquito Rico sped through Internationale's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teo Otsoko. Internationale's Teo Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Lövgren in the 21st minute of play. When Czeslaw Drugi fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Internationale's protests and gave Czeslaw Drugi a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Internationale got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Drugi. After a defensive mix-up in Internationale's zone, Anders Lövgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Otsoko came out of the goal and Anders Lövgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teo Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquito Rico in the 25th minute of play. Chiquito Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Otsoko having to interfere. Teo Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Kinnman in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Mazio f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Petros Terzis. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Chiquito Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mazio f.c.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Chiquito Rico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Otsoko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Lövgren in the 37th minute of play forced Internationale's goalkeeper Teo Otsoko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Otsoko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquito Rico in the 40th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Czeslaw Drugi was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Benjamin Kinnman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nektarios Kalkounos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Drugi in the 54th minute of play. Teo Otsoko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Lövgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Internationale's goalkeeper Teo Otsoko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chiquito Rico. Chiquito Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Teo Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Lövgren in the 66th minute of play forced Internationale's goalkeeper Teo Otsoko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Chiquito Rico got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teo Otsoko quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Internationale's Teo Otsoko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Internationale from getting a goal against them. Chiquito Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Otsoko having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Anders Lövgren fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Chiquito Rico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teo Otsoko having to make a save. 83 minutes into the game, Mazio f.c.'s Anders Lövgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teo Otsoko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Teo Otsoko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Tsouchtras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anders Lövgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Teo Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazio f.c.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
