With an extended leg and a bit of luck Takis Brizolakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 43 minutes, Kostas Vokolos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moloko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kostas Vokolos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iakovos Kapetanos was the one to do the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 52 minutes into the match, Moloko's goal looked a bit too open when Iakovos Kapetanos came free, but Takis Brizolakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moloko's Charis Tzanetakis got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pavlos Zikas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Victor Paez made a huge save. Drafi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kostas Vokolos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Mavreas in the 79th minute of play forced Moloko's goalkeeper Takis Brizolakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
