Límnos BC were furious when Carl Dahl was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Kemal Türünk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Límnos BC's goalkeeper Manolis Konstantinou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manolis Konstantinou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Karapitsios in the 7th minute of play. Manolis Konstantinou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kemal Türünk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manolis Konstantinou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iakovos Kapetanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Victor Paez was a little too slow when Cristian Manciulescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Manolis Konstantinou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Mavreas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iakovos Kapetanos in the 21st minute of play forced Límnos BC's goalkeeper Manolis Konstantinou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, Drafi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonidas Paterakis to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Límnos BC defense, Iakovos Kapetanos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manolis Konstantinou. The Límnos BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manolis Konstantinou should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Paris Korellas notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Límnos BC's Manolis Konstantinou. Manolis Konstantinou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Paris Korellas sped through Límnos BC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manolis Konstantinou. Manolis Konstantinou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akis Katsanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Límnos BC got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Eutropio. After a defensive mix-up in Límnos BC's zone, Kemal Türünk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manolis Konstantinou came out of the goal and Kemal Türünk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kemal Türünk hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Manolis Konstantinou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iakovos Kapetanos in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Drafi's Kemal Türünk got a free kick in the 54th minute. Manolis Konstantinou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akis Katsanis in the 61st minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Límnos BC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Manciulescu. Iakovos Kapetanos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manolis Konstantinou came out and tried to block the shot, but Iakovos Kapetanos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavien Pirat in the 69th minute of play forced Drafi's goalkeeper Victor Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Iakovos Kapetanos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manolis Konstantinou. Iakovos Kapetanos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. After 77 minutes of play, Drafi's Iakovos Kapetanos made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manolis Konstantinou was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the match, Límnos BC's goalkeeper Manolis Konstantinou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iakovos Kapetanos. Límnos BC's Manolis Konstantinou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Mavreas in the 87th minute of play. Manolis Konstantinou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akis Katsanis in the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over Drafi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Límnos BC throughout the match.
