Spectators: 8358 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 70) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Augusto Landero made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giannis Rammos in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilias Seichanidis saved ΟΦΗ from getting behind. In the 7th minute of the match Pyrgetos FC got a corner. ΟΦΗ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alkaios Palatzas ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 10th minute Augusto Landero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Landero in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Giannis Rammos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pyrgetos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Kakotaridis came free, but Ilias Seichanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ΟΦΗ's Ilias Seichanidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Kakotaridis in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Pyrgetos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Landero came free, but Omar Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasos Papadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by ΟΦΗ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alkaios Palatzas was slow to take the kick. During this time Pyrgetos FC's players had a chance to rest. Alkaios Palatzas made a great header on Pyrgetos FC's corner, it was just that ΟΦΗ's Ilias Seichanidis managed to reach the ball for a save. Nasos Papadis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Omar Nicholas came out and tried to block the shot, but Nasos Papadis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 29th minute. Nasos Papadis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Omar Nicholas made a huge save. Pyrgetos FC's Omar Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasos Papadis in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Landero in the 38th minute of play forced Pyrgetos FC's goalkeeper Omar Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes of play, ΟΦΗ's Augusto Landero made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Nicholas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Omar Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Landero, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, ΟΦΗ's Augusto Landero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Omar Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Landero in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikiforos Karnezakis made a kick off. ΟΦΗ's Ilias Seichanidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikiforos Karnezakis in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Kakotaridis came free, but Ilias Seichanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Akis Karaoulanis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Nicholas. Pyrgetos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Akis Karaoulanis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After having played for 60 minutes, Giannis Rammos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pyrgetos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Rammos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Pyrgetos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nasos Papadis came free, but Omar Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ΟΦΗ's Augusto Landero got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ilias Seichanidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Kakotaridis in the 67th minute of play. Omar Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akis Karaoulanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pyrgetos FC's Omar Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akis Karaoulanis in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Giannis Rammos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Seichanidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Alkaios Palatzas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ilias Seichanidis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 75 minutes into the game, Lambis Talitsikas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Omar Nicholas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Omar Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Landero in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pyrgetos FC's Giorgos Sferopoulos got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pyrgetos FC's goalkeeper Omar Nicholas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thomas Kakotaridis hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 87 minutes Pyrgetos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Babbis Theodorakakos who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Babbis Theodorakakos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pyrgetos FC's Omar Nicholas did a great save. After a rather tough play, ΟΦΗ's Nasos Papadis got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Paris Pountidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Ilias Seichanidis managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Pyrgetos FC's Nikiforos Karnezakis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 96 minutes into the game, Giorgos Sferopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pyrgetos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΟΦΗ the free kick. The supporters of ΟΦΗ booed when Pyrgetos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Sferopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Landero spun around in front of the goal 97 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Pyrgetos FC's goal.
