To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, MindHead FC's goalkeeper Tolis Nomikos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Björck. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thalis Kominatos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Andreas Björck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kostas Alexoudis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eutichios Kanelos in the 62nd minute of play. MindHead FC's Marinos Tatsis was substituted for Kostas Mouras.
