In the 3rd minute, Giannis Kousas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vassilis Kopsokefalos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Giannis Kousas took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vassilis Kopsokefalos. Vassilis Kopsokefalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Buinton in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vassilis Kopsokefalos saved Peristasi FC from getting behind. In the 10th minute, Giannis Kousas made a precise shot to the right of Vassilis Kopsokefalos. Peristasi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 19 minutes into the match, Peristasi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Karterouliotis came free, but Vassilis Kopsokefalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonis Kalamaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Hedström having to interfere. Vassilis Kopsokefalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norman Haiba in the 22nd minute of play. Vassilis Kopsokefalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norman Haiba, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Vassilis Kopsokefalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Buinton's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Vicente Buinton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peristasi FC's Vassilis Kopsokefalos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Peristasi FC defense, Petros Karterouliotis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vassilis Kopsokefalos. The Peristasi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vassilis Kopsokefalos should have stopped the shot. After 46 played minutes AEK S.C got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Kourmouzis.

Vassilis Kopsokefalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lambros Vouzatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Norman Haiba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Vassilis Kopsokefalos made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Norman Haiba made a precise shot to the right of Vassilis Kopsokefalos. Peristasi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. In the 60th match minute, Peristasi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lambis Kromlidis to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Marcin Baszczyński managed to get in a good position for a shot. AEK S.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcin Baszczyński was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vassilis Kopsokefalos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as AEK S.C's Miltos Kyriazis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vassilis Kopsokefalos. That made the score 0-8 after 63 minutes of play. Vicente Buinton kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 69thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Peristasi FC's keeper Vassilis Kopsokefalos was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Kousas in the 71st minute of play forced Peristasi FC's goalkeeper Vassilis Kopsokefalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petros Karterouliotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Kopsokefalos having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Peristasi FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vicente Buinton fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 77 minutes, Giannis Kousas made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Peristasi FC's Vassilis Kopsokefalos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Evripidis Maras fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peristasi FC's protests and gave Evripidis Maras a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Peristasi FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Vassilis Kopsokefalos, was totally fooled by AEK S.C's Marcin Baszczyński, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 85 minutes into the game, Vicente Buinton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vassilis Kopsokefalos. Vicente Buinton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giannis Kousas in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vassilis Kopsokefalos saved Peristasi FC from getting behind. Norman Haiba hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Peristasi FC's Vassilis Kopsokefalos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Peristasi FC from getting a goal against them. AEK S.C played a much better game than Peristasi FC and deserved their victory. The Peristasi FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
