The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Paragioudakis got free with Ermis Prasomouris in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Geo United fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Geo United's Fragiskos Karaliopoulos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Fragiskos Karaliopoulos sped through Peristasi FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vassilis Kopsokefalos. Antonis Kalamaras kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Geo United's goal looked a bit too open when Loukianos Asimakopoulos came free, but Ermis Prasomouris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Fragiskos Karaliopoulos in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ermis Karanikolaou kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Fragiskos Karaliopoulos sped through Peristasi FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vassilis Kopsokefalos. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fragiskos Karaliopoulos to make the kick off. The supporters of Geo United booed when Peristasi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonis Kalamaras didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peristasi FC's goalkeeper Vassilis Kopsokefalos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Petros Peponis notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Peristasi FC's Vassilis Kopsokefalos. Vassilis Kopsokefalos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Fragiskos Karaliopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vassilis Kopsokefalos was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Kleon Karoubalos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Vassilis Kopsokefalos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vassilis Kopsokefalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Peponis in the 68th minute of play. Kleon Karoubalos hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The supporters of Peristasi FC booed when Geo United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kleon Karoubalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd play minute Fragiskos Karaliopoulos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vassilis Kopsokefalos. 0-9. In the 86th minute, Geo United's Petros Peponis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vassilis Kopsokefalos. Vassilis Kopsokefalos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. A hard shot 90 in the game by Fragiskos Karaliopoulos from a close distance when the talented Vassilis Kopsokefalos managed to make a qualified save. Peristasi FC's players were relieved. With a little luck, Peristasi FC's Vassilis Kopsokefalos got control of the ball when Fragiskos Karaliopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line.
