Fondas Zachakis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Soulis Vamvakousis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 25th minute, pamponiros's Piotr Orzechowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Soulis Vamvakousis. Soulis Vamvakousis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clinton Eastwood in the 28th minute of play forced pamponiros's goalkeeper Fanis Giannakopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dimitris Fragou during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dimitris Fragou hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Tito Villalba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Soulis Vamvakousis. The goal made the score 2-0. After a rather tough play, meteora 1929's Dean Bittner got a free kick in the 34th minute. Soulis Vamvakousis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Natanael in the 37th minute of the match. Dimitris Fragou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Dimitris Fragou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fanis Giannakopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dimitris Fragou to strike the kick off in the second half. Ruben Natanael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Soulis Vamvakousis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. pamponiros's Fanis Giannakopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Fragou in the 53rd minute of play. The corner ended in Theofilos Bozidis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but pamponiros's Fanis Giannakopoulos did a great save. Clinton Eastwood struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Fanis Giannakopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for meteora 1929. Fondas Zachakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fanis Giannakopoulos made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Clinton Eastwood sent off a good shot on target. Fondas Zachakis took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Soulis Vamvakousis. Soulis Vamvakousis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 77 minutes into the match, meteora 1929's goal looked a bit too open when Tito Villalba came free, but Soulis Vamvakousis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tito Villalba in the 80th minute of play forced meteora 1929's goalkeeper Soulis Vamvakousis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Fondas Zachakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soulis Vamvakousis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Clinton Eastwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. meteora 1929's supporters rose to their feet, but Clinton Eastwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fanis Giannakopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ruben Natanael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikos Servetiadis kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Renos Rouvas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. meteora 1929's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renos Rouvas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Soulis Vamvakousis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fondas Zachakis in the 92nd minute of the match.
