Spectators: 8457 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fragiskos Karaliopoulos kicked off to start the match. Geo United's Ermis Prasomouris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stathis Klotsidis in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Vaggelis Poulis made a precise shot to the right of Ermis Prasomouris. Geo United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Vaggelis Poulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ermis Prasomouris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Blue Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Pipis Siapanidis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fragiskos Karaliopoulos in the 10th minute of play forced Blue Lions FC's goalkeeper Kostas Alexoudis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Simos Manousopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kostas Alexoudis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fokas Spyropoulos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stathis Klotsidis in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermis Prasomouris saved Geo United from getting behind. A collision led to Geo United getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nikos Aggelakas hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Stathis Klotsidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ermis Prasomouris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stathis Klotsidis in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermis Prasomouris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermis Prasomouris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ermis Prasomouris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stathis Klotsidis's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Ermis Prasomouris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simos Manousopoulos in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Andreas Björck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermis Prasomouris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Blue Lions FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stathis Klotsidis made a kick off. Ermis Prasomouris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simos Manousopoulos in the 52nd minute of play. The Blue Lions FC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Blue Lions FC's Stathis Klotsidis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. When Nikos Aggelakas fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Geo United's protests and gave Nikos Aggelakas a yellow card for diving instead. Simos Manousopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermis Prasomouris having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Björck got free with Ermis Prasomouris in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Pipis Siapanidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timos Nikolaidis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kostas Alexoudis. Blue Lions FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ermis Prasomouris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Poulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 78 minutes of play, Blue Lions FC's Vaggelis Poulis made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermis Prasomouris was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanos Moisidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The crowd rose to their feet as Blue Lions FC's Stathis Klotsidis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ermis Prasomouris. That made the score 0-8 after 94 minutes of play. Blue Lions FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
