In the 10th minute Kosmas Kassianidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Takis Kalfoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Konstantinos Farmakatos fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Siro's protests and gave Konstantinos Farmakatos a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes San Siro got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinos Farmakatos. Kosmas Kassianidis scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Takis Kalfoglou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Kosmas Kassianidis took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Takis Kalfoglou to make any attempt to save it. In the 24th minute, Stamatis Nassiakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Takis Kalfoglou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 44 minutes into the game, Kosmas Kassianidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Takis Kalfoglou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giorgos Lagos to strike the kick off in the second half. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. San Siro fully deserved thier win.
