The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Spyros Dimitriou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Iosif Puric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Manchester United's Kosmas Simertzidis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. FC Bad Company's Stamatis Bountos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Copil in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Raftis came free, but Iosif Puric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iosif Puric showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spyros Dimitriou, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 24 minutes into the match, FC Bad Company's Giorgos Raftis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iosif Puric narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led FC Bad Company's Konstantinos Psalidas to fire away a dangerous shot which Iosif Puric despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Erwin-Alexander Verduyckt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 30th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spyros Dimitriou in the 39th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Iosif Puric to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Manchester United defense, Giorgos Raftis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iosif Puric. The Manchester United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iosif Puric should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Erwin-Alexander Verduyckt could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Stamatis Bountos however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Manchester United booed when FC Bad Company was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Makis Fragopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Copil to make the kick off. Spyros Dimitriou came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Iosif Puric could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Copil in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stamatis Bountos saved FC Bad Company from getting behind. Stamatis Bountos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Copil in the 69th minute of the match. Spyros Dimitriou kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. FC Bad Company's Alexis Polymerou was substituted for Giorgos Krontiras. After a rather tough play, FC Bad Company's Spyros Dimitriou got a free kick in the 75th minute. Erwin-Alexander Verduyckt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Spyros Karastamatis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamatis Bountos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minas Nastos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Iosif Puric made a huge save. The supporters of Manchester United booed when FC Bad Company was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Konstantinoulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Erwin-Alexander Verduyckt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stamatis Bountos. FC Bad Company's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erwin-Alexander Verduyckt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When Giorgos Raftis came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FC Bad Company fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgos Raftis couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Manchester United had played much better football throughout.
