After some careless play in the PAOK-RE4 defense, Notis Dimakoglou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manolis Apostolakis. The PAOK-RE4 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manolis Apostolakis should have stopped the shot. Alketas Pesmatzoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyriakos Kortselis in the 30th minute of play. After 35 minutes, Timos Velopoulos made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. PAOK-RE4's Manolis Apostolakis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Manolis Apostolakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Notis Dimakoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Alexandros Italianos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manolis Apostolakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timos Velopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manolis Apostolakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Notis Dimakoglou in the 59th minute of play. Evaggelos Kalogeratos kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Timos Velopoulos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manolis Apostolakis firmly grabbed it by the left post. 72 minutes into the match, Zinedine Zidane club de f's goal looked a bit too open when Kyriakos Kortselis came free, but Alketas Pesmatzoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
