Spectators: 8425 (Terracing: 6319, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 168) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Charalambos Vrotsos kicked off to start the match. Lucio Katalinic's late challenge caught a AO Chalkidas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucio Katalinic helped the player get up and apologised. Pipis Liaros came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by AO Chalkidas's Giorgos Kotsios. But to his dismay, Giorgos Kotsios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the AO Chalkidas defense, Charalambos Vrotsos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Koulis Sifakis. The AO Chalkidas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Koulis Sifakis should have stopped the shot. Lucio Katalinic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pipis Liaros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Revithis in the 11th minute of play. When Bιrnitsa FC's Charalambos Vrotsos in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AO Chalkidas's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in AO Chalkidas's zone, Charalambos Vrotsos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koulis Sifakis came out of the goal and Charalambos Vrotsos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kostas Revithis kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Koulis Sifakis stood somewhat misplaced when Charalambos Vrotsos came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 20 minute. Kostas Revithis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pipis Liaros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kostas Revithis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26thth minute of the game Ntinos Panagakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bιrnitsa FC's Pipis Liaros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute AO Chalkidas were awarded a corner. Kostas Revithis went to the cornerflag to take it. AO Chalkidas's Koulis Sifakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save AO Chalkidas from getting a goal against them. If Kyriakos Spyropoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, Bιrnitsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Katalinic to maneuver through the defense. Charalambos Vrotsoss short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Koulis Sifakis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Koulis Sifakis made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Charalambos Vrotsos sent off a good shot on target. Bιrnitsa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucio Katalinic in the 40th minute. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by AO Chalkidas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucio Katalinic was slow to take the kick. During this time Bιrnitsa FC's players had a chance to rest. Lucio Katalinic made a great header on Bιrnitsa FC's corner, it was just that AO Chalkidas's Koulis Sifakis managed to reach the ball for a save. Pipis Liaros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Kotsios in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

With a little luck, Bιrnitsa FC's Pipis Liaros got control of the ball when Kostas Revithis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucio Katalinic blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Koulis Sifakis having to make a save. Sotos Karypidis hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Bιrnitsa FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Ntinos Panagakis scored to the left of an out of position Pipis Liaros, making the score, 2-2. 75 minutes into the match, Charalambos Vrotsos notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of AO Chalkidas's Koulis Sifakis. Koulis Sifakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bιrnitsa FC's Odysseas Kiassos was substituted for Kyriakos Spyropoulos. Bιrnitsa FC's Pipis Chytos was substituted for Bruno Boezeman. Bιrnitsa FC's Víktor Tepedino was substituted for Zisis Makris. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charalambos Vrotsos in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Koulis Sifakis saved AO Chalkidas from getting behind. After 81 minutes, Giorgos Kotsios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AO Chalkidas and the Bιrnitsa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes AO Chalkidas got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Kotsios. A collision led to Bιrnitsa FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nikiforos Kallioras hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Bιrnitsa FC's goalkeeper Pipis Liaros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marinos Dimitroulis. In the 84th minute of the match AO Chalkidas got a corner. Bιrnitsa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Isidoros Tassis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Lucio Katalinic almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AO Chalkidas's Koulis Sifakis did a great save. In the 88th minute, Gregorio Veremundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The excitement rose when AO Chalkidas's Isidoros Tassis after 90 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Bιrnitsa FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-3. AO Chalkidas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
