Luan Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Kotsios, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Kostas Revithis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Luan Teles made a huge save. Luan Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kostas Revithis in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Giorgos Kotsios kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luan Teles. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. Ntinos Panagakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luan Teles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Antonis Karapitsios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 45 minutes, Kostas Revithis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AO Chalkidas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kostas Revithis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th match minute, AO Chalkidas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacharias Zografos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in AO Chalkidas's zone, Lastur Abeitia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koulis Sifakis came out of the goal and Lastur Abeitia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
