Spectators: 8394 (Terracing: 6298, Seating: 1930, VIP seats: 166) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Petros Kalivrousis kicked off to start the match. 10 minutes into the game, Thodoris Anagnostopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nikos Tournas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 13 minutes into the match, ARTA's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Kalivrousis came free, but Alexis Benetatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Thodoris Anagnostopoulos took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Nikos Tournas to make any attempt to save it. Nikos Tournas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paschalis Servetas in the 19th minute of play. Marios Kounetas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Nikos Tournas made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Babbis Tsirkos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of ARTA booed when Dhafnospiliá BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Owen Colbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute ARTA were awarded a corner. Babbis Tsirkos went to the cornerflag to take it. Babbis Tsirkos made a great header on ARTA's corner, it was just that Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas managed to reach the ball for a save. With 38 minutes on the clock, Simos Nestoriadis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 37th minute, one of Dhafnospiliá BC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dhafnospiliá BC. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Alexis Benetatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Telakis in the 53rd minute of play. Thodoris Anagnostopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Tournas having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Marios Kounetas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Nikos Tournas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anastasios Koupepes took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikos Tournas. Nikos Tournas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 71st minute, Thodoris Anagnostopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ARTA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Nikos Tournas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thodoris Anagnostopoulos in the 74th minute of play. After some careless play in the Dhafnospiliá BC defense, Marios Kounetas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikos Tournas. The Dhafnospiliá BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikos Tournas should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the game, Mariusz Poreda threw the ball into play from the sideline. ARTA's Christos Tzolis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nikos Tournas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babbis Tsirkos, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Thodoris Anagnostopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes ARTA got a freekick which was hit by Theocharis Vasilikos. After a rather tough play, ARTA's Ilias Kokolakis got a free kick in the 94th minute. Owen Colbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the ARTA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
