Renato Fernandes started the match with the kick off. Léo Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panagiotis Psaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoros Tsagarakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Makis Zikas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Isidoros Tsagarakis made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Barbagiannis in the 16th minute of play forced KAFSONAS F.C.'s goalkeeper Léo Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léo Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Psaris in the 17th minute of the match. Renato Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Isidoros Tsagarakis made a huge save. Léo Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Barbagiannis in the 22nd minute of play. Panos Barbagiannis took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léo Velloso. Léo Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. PaoK Neapoleos's Isidoros Tsagarakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save PaoK Neapoleos from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, PaoK Neapoleos's Isidoros Tsagarakis got control of the ball when Renato Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, KAFSONAS F.C.'s Aggelos Vogiaris got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Dawid Kosakowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PaoK Neapoleos's Isidoros Tsagarakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simos Kapataidakis in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Makis Zikas got free with Isidoros Tsagarakis in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 44 minutes PaoK Neapoleos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giorgos Georgakos who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Giorgos Georgakos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isidoros Tsagarakis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, KAFSONAS F.C.'s Makis Zikas got a free kick in the 47th minute. PaoK Neapoleos's Vaggelis Dimidis was substituted for Panagiotis Psaris. The supporters of PaoK Neapoleos booed when KAFSONAS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Makis Zikas didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Argyris Stokas to make the kick off. Léo Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Panos Barbagiannis in the 53rd minute. 61 minutes into the match, PaoK Neapoleos's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Fernandes came free, but Isidoros Tsagarakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PaoK Neapoleos made a substitution. Vassilis Roubakis replaced Argyris Stokas. After a rather tough play, KAFSONAS F.C.'s Renato Fernandes got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in KAFSONAS F.C.'s zone, Vassilis Roubakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Léo Velloso came out of the goal and Vassilis Roubakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Barbagiannis in the 66th minute of play forced KAFSONAS F.C.'s goalkeeper Léo Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, KAFSONAS F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Rigoulias to maneuver through the defense. Dawid Kosakowski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Makis Zikas in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoros Tsagarakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Simos Kapataidakis made a precise shot to the right of Isidoros Tsagarakis. PaoK Neapoleos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 84 minutes into the match, PaoK Neapoleos's goal looked a bit too open when Makis Zikas came free, but Isidoros Tsagarakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, PaoK Neapoleos's Sotiris Xifaras seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sotiris Xifaras the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of PaoK Neapoleos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sotiris Xifaras had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Sotiris Xifaras hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Giorgos Georgakos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidoros Tsagarakis having to make a save. After 90 minutes of play, KAFSONAS F.C.'s Makis Zikas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidoros Tsagarakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Fernandes in the 93rd minute of play forced PaoK Neapoleos's goalkeeper Isidoros Tsagarakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Vaggelis Dimidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
