Francis Murtopo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francis Murtopo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Michalis Livas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Kalymnos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kyriakos Kalakos came free, but Bruninho Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edoardo Ragazzoni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruninho Falcão was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Bruninho Falcão came out of the goal and Edoardo Ragazzoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruninho Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Fraco in the 35th minute of the match. Bruninho Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Ragazzoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pap FC's Edoardo Ragazzoni in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kalymnos F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 47th play minute Fondas Salevris came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Francis Murtopo. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rubens Donato to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Edoardo Ragazzoni got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bruninho Falcão was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dimitris Liapis hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Fraco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Falcão having to interfere. Rubens Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Pap FC's Edoardo Ragazzoni was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Kalymnos F.C.'s Pavlos Zachariadis was substituted for Fondas Salevris. In the 77th minute, Soulis Chatzoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Kalymnos F.C.'s Bruninho Falcão got control of the ball when Edoardo Ragazzoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edoardo Ragazzoni took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruninho Falcão. Kyriakos Kalakos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Kyriakos Kalakos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pap FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Kalymnos F.C.'s Fotis Bissias was substituted for Soulis Chatzoulis. 91 minutes into the game, Eugenios Saridakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Bruninho Falcão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
