Davi Lendaa might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikos Tournas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Davi Lendaa ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicasio Guijarro kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. ΑΣΤΡΑΧΑΝ's Iosif Tsoleridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theocharis Agapidis in the 22nd minute of play. Iosif Tsoleridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petros Kalivrousis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, ΑΣΤΡΑΧΑΝ's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Kalivrousis came free, but Iosif Tsoleridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikos Tournas was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Davi Lendaa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Davi Lendaa really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Nikos Tournas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Giorgos Kounenakis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Dhafnospiliá BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Owen Colbert to maneuver through the defense. Dhafnospiliá BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΑΣΤΡΑΧΑΝ the free kick. Mariusz Poreda hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Lendaa in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davi Lendaa to make the kick off. Dhafnospiliá BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kleanthis Lianos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Kleanthis Lianos managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΑΣΤΡΑΧΑΝ's supporters rose to their feet, but Kleanthis Lianos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikos Tournas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Petros Kalivrousis came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Dhafnospiliá BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petros Kalivrousis couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petros Kalivrousis got free with Iosif Tsoleridis in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nikos Tournas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kleanthis Lianos in the 80th minute of play. Nektarios Dourekas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Dhafnospiliá BC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
