Kent Lindholm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexis Benetatos having to make a save. ARTA's Thodoris Anagnostopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Thodoris Anagnostopoulos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Chris Hommertgen, passed just outside the right post. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Kent Lindholm sped through ARTA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alexis Benetatos. Marios Kounetas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, katsaroni fc's Chris Hommertgen got control of the ball when Marios Kounetas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 played minutes katsaroni fc got a freekick which was hit by Themos Kourabies. If Marios Kounetas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When ARTA's Thodoris Anagnostopoulos, in the 53rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for ARTA. Chris Hommertgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasios Koupepes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. katsaroni fc's Chris Hommertgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thodoris Anagnostopoulos in the 56th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, ARTA's Marios Kounetas made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chris Hommertgen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baldomero Cidro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the game, one of katsaroni fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Chris Hommertgen had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Babbis Tsirkos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 65 minutes, Thodoris Anagnostopoulos made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. katsaroni fc's Chris Hommertgen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Marios Kounetas came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the ARTA fans jumped to their feet.
