Thodoris Anagnostopoulos started the match with the kick off. Alexis Benetatos was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Lambis Kazantzakoglou capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lambis Kazantzakoglou really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. ARTA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Lambis Kazantzakoglou scored to the left of an out of position Alexis Benetatos, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theocharis Vasilikos in the 11th minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Styrbjörn Stokken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, GREEK ARMY's Vrasidas Drambas got a free kick in the 15th minute. Styrbjörn Stokken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thodoris Anagnostopoulos went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Lambis Kazantzakoglou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexis Benetatos. That made the score 3-1 in the 20 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lambis Kazantzakoglou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexis Benetatos was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Alexis Benetatos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lambis Kazantzakoglou's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. GREEK ARMY's Styrbjörn Stokken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasios Koupepes in the 30th minute of play. Alexis Benetatos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lambis Kazantzakoglou's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Vrasidas Drambas kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Lambis Kazantzakoglou took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexis Benetatos. Alexis Benetatos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Charis Ouzounis kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lambis Kazantzakoglou to strike the kick off in the second half. If Thodoris Anagnostopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Thodoris Anagnostopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Styrbjörn Stokken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ARTA booed when GREEK ARMY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Elssen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marios Kounetas in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Styrbjörn Stokken, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lambis Kazantzakoglou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexis Benetatos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Grigoris Karagiotakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexis Benetatos was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Lambis Kazantzakoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paschalis Servetas made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by GREEK ARMY's Aris Skilas. In the 76th minute Anastasios Koupepes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Styrbjörn Stokken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Marios Kounetas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Styrbjörn Stokken, 5-2. Styrbjörn Stokken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thodoris Anagnostopoulos in the 84th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play, GREEK ARMY's Lambis Kazantzakoglou made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexis Benetatos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Lambis Kazantzakoglou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Styrbjörn Stokken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasios Koupepes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. GREEK ARMY were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ARTA for a fine match.
