Xarilaou FC's Kostas Kourmouzis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Telakis in the 3rd minute of play. Kostas Fasoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Tournas having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Achilleas Kanavatsos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nikos Tournas. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Achilleas Kanavatsos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nikos Tournas, 2-0. Nikos Tournas was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Achilleas Kanavatsos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Achilleas Kanavatsos really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 19thth minute of the game Thodoris Loubakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Dhafnospiliá BC defense, Kostas Fasoulis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikos Tournas. The Dhafnospiliá BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikos Tournas should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Dhafnospiliá BC's goalkeeper Nikos Tournas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thodoris Loubakis. Achilleas Kanavatsos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Tournas having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Xarilaou FC's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Kalivrousis came free, but Kostas Kourmouzis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Themis Efthimidis put in a rough tackle. Nikos Tournas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thodoris Loubakis in the 37th minute of play. Thodoris Loubakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Nikos Tournas made a huge save. Xarilaou FC's Achilleas Kanavatsos got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thodoris Loubakis in the 51st minute of play. After 52 minutes of play, Xarilaou FC's Thodoris Loubakis made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikos Tournas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 55th minute, Thodoris Loubakis made a precise shot to the right of Nikos Tournas. Dhafnospiliá BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 60 minutes into the game, Achilleas Kanavatsos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Nikos Tournas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Theocharis Agapidis hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Fanis Skaltsas scored 8-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikos Tournas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 72nd play minutes Thodoris Loubakis shot 9-0, a short shot which went by Nikos Tournas and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Xarilaou FC booed when Dhafnospiliá BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Poreda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikos Tournas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thodoris Loubakis in the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to Dhafnospiliá BC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Owen Colbert hit a great ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Thodoris Loubakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nikos Tournas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achilleas Kanavatsos in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Thodoris Loubakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Tournas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
