Chris Hommertgen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chris Hommertgen came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by PaoK Neapoleos's Panagiotis Psaris. But to his dismay, Panagiotis Psaris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After having played for 46 minutes, Panagiotis Psaris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 56th minute Panos Barbagiannis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Hommertgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Panos Barbagiannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PaoK Neapoleos made a substitution. Vassilis Roubakis replaced Argyris Stokas. Isidoros Tsagarakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alekos Koentas in the 66th minute of the match. Vassilis Roubakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 played minutes katsaroni fc got a freekick which was hit by Themos Kourabies. Chris Hommertgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vassilis Kyriakas in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Panos Barbagiannis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Chris Hommertgen. Panos Barbagiannis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Chris Hommertgen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Panos Barbagiannis in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, katsaroni fc's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Barbagiannis came free, but Chris Hommertgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chris Hommertgen stood somewhat misplaced when Vassilis Kyriakas came free in front of goal and shot 0-10 to the left of him in the 94 minute. The katsaroni fc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PaoK Neapoleos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
