RODOS F.C.'s players were relieved. 30 minutes into the match, AEK Lamia club's Viktoras Mavrakis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, RODOS F.C.'s Hillar Vent got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Giannis Kassianidis. When the match was over RODOS F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AEK Lamia club throughout the match.
