They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

ARION F.C. Lesvos's Kostas Karvelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Venieris in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Alexis Stergalas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of RODOS F.C.'s Rab Cura. Rab Cura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute of the match, Dimitris Venieris tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kostas Karvelas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kostas Karvelas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hillar Vent. 85 minutes into the game, RODOS F.C.'s Lakis Traganitis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kostas Karvelas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 95 minutes into the match, Lakis Traganitis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kostas Karvelas, 1-3. RODOS F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
