Despite this Evlogi Antonov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Evlogi Antonov was a little too slow when Viktoras Mavrakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-3. The supporters of MpanTouLis FC booed when AEK Lamia club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinon Skilas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christos Vardis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Timos Karagiorgos made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Argyris Amanatidis sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in AEK Lamia club's zone, Argyris Amanatidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timos Karagiorgos came out of the goal and Argyris Amanatidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MpanTouLis FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
