The supporters of RODOS F.C. booed when MpanTouLis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Vardis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Argyris Amanatidis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rab Cura. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. Evlogi Antonov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Wawro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Evlogi Antonov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Venieris in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcin Wawro in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evlogi Antonov saved MpanTouLis FC from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, MpanTouLis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Venieris came free, but Evlogi Antonov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evlogi Antonov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcin Wawro in the 27th minute of the match. After 28 minutes MpanTouLis FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hillar Vent who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Hillar Vent almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MpanTouLis FC's Evlogi Antonov did a great save. With a little luck, RODOS F.C.'s Rab Cura got control of the ball when Argyris Amanatidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gilberto Funes came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the RODOS F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Funes couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Marcin Wawro put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Evlogi Antonov. In the 43rd minute Dimitris Venieris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evlogi Antonov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcin Wawro in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evlogi Antonov saved MpanTouLis FC from getting behind. MpanTouLis FC's Evlogi Antonov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Wawro in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 59th minute, Dimitris Venieris fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Evlogi Antonov, passed just outside the right post. 63 minutes into the match, RODOS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Stratos Tsoflidis came free, but Rab Cura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcin Wawro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evlogi Antonov having to interfere. RODOS F.C. made a substitution. Petros Meimarakis replaced Gilberto Funes. Rab Cura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Amanatidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. MpanTouLis FC's Evlogi Antonov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Wawro in the 70th minute of play. Romulo Favila lost his temper 90 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of MpanTouLis FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RODOS F.C.:s goal. Evlogi Antonov had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Hillar Vent's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Evlogi Antonov made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Lakis Traganitis sent off a good shot on target.
